To Whom It May
Concern:
I
want to take this opportunity to share my resounding endorsement and recommendation
of Rebekah Wright. I have three (3) Westies — Gabby, Mickey, and Dylan. We
first became acquainted with Rebekah when she came to our house to train
Dylan when he was about six (6) months old. He is all Westie — stubborn,
independent, and wants to do things his way, but Rebekah was very capable,
patient, kind, encouraging, and ever-so-gentle with him and he responded to her
in a positive way. I’m afraid to say we were her challenge, but she handled
even us with grace.
What
we didn’t know when she was training Dylan was what was about to happen to our
little Dylan. Shortly after we completed training, we found out that Dylan had
Legg-Calves-Perthes disease which was eating away at the ball joint to his hip
(the top of the femoral head). After going through two (2) unsuccessful hip
replacement surgeries and one (1) modified FHO just days before we left for a
trip to Israel, Dylan was in bad shape — confined to a crate and unable to
really walk except to go potty and even then he had to be on a leash out in his
own backyard. Rebekah came and lived in our house during our two (2) week trip
and took care of all three (3) dogs, with particular attention to our little
Dylan. She followed our instructions to the letter — making sure that he got to
his therapy appointment and making sure that we were kept informed as to how
all three of the dogs were doing.
We
have had a couple of other surgeries (Dylan and Gabby) and she is well trained
in giving their medications to them.
After
that, she began coming to our house everyday to let the dogs out while we were
at work. She always keeps us posted on how the dogs are doing when she comes to
visit.
Rebekah
has a very calm demeanor and is extremely reliable and trustworthy. She is also
very accommodating of our changes in schedule (going to our home on a moment’s
notice to feed the dogs in the evening when we have to work late). She has
never canceled on us — always making sure that she had an acceptable substitute
if she was not able to come (which did not happen often).
She
listens to our concerns about the dogs and is always willing to work with us to
meet their needs. She has worked to build individual connections with Gabby,
Mickey, and Dylan. She knows their personalities, their quirks, likes, and
dislikes. When we return from trips, we can tell that all three dogs are in
good spirits and have been well cared for! This allows us to fully enjoy our
vacations knowing our fur kids and home are safe in her care.
The
biggest endorsement she gets is from our dogs when she visits when we are home.
They are always thrilled to see her — tails wagging as fast as they can, mouths
open in big wide grins, and hovering as close to her as they can get! In short,
they love their Rebekah!
The
biggest endorsement I can give — I unequivocally trust her with all of my heart
to take care of my dogs and of my house! She is respectful of our home, loves
our dogs, and cares about all of us! She is family to us!
Gabby,
Mickey, Dylan, and I highly recommend Rebekah as a pet sitter and trainer —
without qualification!
